The £80m-rated defender Milan Skriniar names Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes as one of his best teammates he has ever had.
The 25-year-old attacking midfielder moves to Old Trafford in the January transfer window from Sporting Lisbon but the Portugal international has made an instant impression to justify his 68 million pounds move to Premier League by providing seven goals in his nine appearances and avoiding single defeat in all of his games for the Red Devils so far.
Inter Milan ace Skriniar and Fernandes played together for Serie A club Sampdoria but Manchester City transfer target has revealed about new Manchester United quality despite both players spending one season at Stadio Luigi Ferraris.
“I think one of my best teammates was Bruno Fernandes,” Skriniar said during a Q&A for Inter’s official website.
“I always liked him back from our time together at Sampdoria.”
Skriniar could be coming up against Fernandes in the derby next season if he moves to Etihad Stadium in the summer.
