As part of Mikel Arteta’s plan in giving Arsenal a qualifying spot in the next UEFA competition, the club has offered a £36 million transfer fee for Marc Roca despite interest from AC Milan.

Roca, 23 from Espanyol is gradually attracting attention from Arteta due to his defensive midfield qualities in the field of play.

However, Gunners will have a lot to do in convincing the young starlet to come over to the Emirates in the next transfer window amid growing interest from AC Milan who are currently putting pressures from all cylinders.

Roca, whose contract will run out by 2022, both clubs are seeking a buyout clause on the contract.

The 23-year-old style of play is compared to that of Sergio Busquets and Xabi Alonso possessing accurate vision and passing range, both long and short, plus nimble footwork and quick thinking,

The bookies believe these essential qualities will be of great asset to Arsenal in their build-up.
