Barcelona knocked out of the Europa league by Eintracht Frankfurt
Barcelona European dreams are over as they lost to German side Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday night.
After a 1-1 in last week draw at the home of the German side,the Catalan giant hoped to see off the eagles at Camp Nou.
Eintracht Frankfurt had over 20,000 of their fans in Camp Nou as they felt at home, with the fans booing the Spanish team when they came out to warm up.
Their fans was there twelve man on the night as they continued to cheer their players on and showing the passion of a real football fanbase.
Over the weekend Barcelona gave away three penalities in a single match for the very first time in history and we’re in similar mood,a ridiculous foul by Eric Garcia on Eintracht Frankfurt striker saw the Refeere point to the spot without excitation.
Filip Kostic stepped up and coolly converted the penalty sending Marc Andre Ter Stegen the wrong way.
Barcelona were lackluster just as they were over the weekend against levante, and the only spark going forward was Ousman Dembele who was a treat all night.

Barcelona would pull a goal back through Segio Busquet‘s long range shot nestling into the back of the net on the 91st minute.
The Catalan were were awarded a penalty at the dying seconds of the game as N’Dicka fouled Luuk De jong and was given a red card.
Memphis Depay a second-half substitute off the bench to score the second goal for Barcelona. It was a little too late as the referee blew the final whistle.
The Eintracht Frankfurt fans roared in great voice as the camp Nou fans were overwhelmed by the amount of German’s in their stadium.
Barcelona threw away the only trophy they actually had a shot .A disastrous end to thier European adventure for the season and it came toat the hands of Eintracht Frankfurt who are 9th in Bundesliga.
Injustice to Barça as the Germans got to play both the games at their home stadium.
The total attendance was 79,468 fans. There were 49,000 Barça fans and 30,648 Frankfurt fans at Camp Nou on thursday tonight.
