Real Madrid and Bayern Munich have agreed on a loan deal for defender Alvaro Odriozola for the rest of the season, until June 30, 2020.
The right-back has been out of favour at the Bernabeu all season and has now left the club to get regular minutes.
Odriozola, who joined Madrid in 2018 from Real Sociedad, becomes Bayern’s first signing of the January window.
Real Madrid could consider selling the defender at the end of the current campaign with Achraf Hakimi perform exceedingly well at Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid will be willing to take him back at the end of the current campaign, that will definitely drop Odriozola in the pecking order at the Bernabeu.
Odriozola joined Real Madrid in 2018 in a move worth €30 million.
