Chelsea Football Club on Tuesday has confirmed contracts extension of Olivier Giroud and Willy Caballero.
The duo contracts are due to expire by the end of the 2019/2020 season, however both players still have the opportunity of playing at Stamford Bridge next season.
Although, the aged players have not had a favourable playtime under Frank Lampard since his managerial role but they have been responding to calls when they were needed.
Giroud in the last few matches for the Blues before the lockdown has been in the starting XI standing in for injury-bound Tammy Abraham and the unimpressive start by Michy Batshuayi.
Frank Lampard said: “Since I have been back at Chelsea, Olivier has been brilliant as a professional and as a man in general.
“He has great qualities to help the squad both on and off the pitch, not only with his talent but with the example he sets every day and the experience he brings to our young squad. I am very pleased that will continue next season.”
