Manchester City will cut short their inaugural winter break after choosing to reschedule their fixture against West Ham next week.
Sunday’s game against the Hammers are the Etihad Stadium was called off after Storm Ciara caused chaos up and down the country with travel issues for both sets of supporters forcing the club into a decision.
Concerns were raised over when the fixture would take place with City already facing a back log of games in the coming months.
Despite the Premier League advising teams not to play during the break, both clubs will cut their winter break short by half-a-week to get the game played.
The new fixture will take place on Wednesday February 19, kicking off at 7:30pm, and will be televised on Sky Sports.
Man City have confirmed that valid match tickets for the cancelled fixture will be honoured in mid-week.
