Inter Milan CEO Giuseppe Marotta has confirmed the Serie A giants want to keep hold of Alexis Sanchez, though admits a deal wont be easy.
Sanchez has impressed recently on loan from Manchester United, with it believed that the Red Devils are eager to get Sanchez off their wage bill.
Sanchez struggled at Old Trafford after joining from Arsenal in 2018, scoring just three Premier League goals in 32 appearances for United.
He has regained some of the form that saw him regarded as one of the Prem’s best players in recent weeks, scoring three times and laying on six assists since football returned.

Though the Premier League giants have declined to let Sanchez continue his loan for the Europa League matches.
Inter could sign Sanchez permanently or on another season-long loan though Marotta acknowledges that agreeing a deal will not be easy, given his Red Devils salary and contract.

“So we have to evaluate this type of situation, in addition to any negotiation.
“It would be a shame if we couldn’t reach an agreement because we would like Sanchez both today and in the future, he is an excellent guy.”
United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer recently said there is a spot at Old Trafford for Sanchez, though the Chilean may not fit.
