German club side, Borussia Dortmund has set August 10 for Manchester United to commence transfer talks on Jadon Sancho.
Despite media rumours and speculations that United has vested interest in bringing Sancho over to Old Trafford, the club is yet to make official statement to that regard.
Pundits claim one key obstacle brewing the delay is the price tag Dortmund has placed on the English teenager.
According to reliable sources, Dortmund is asking for a whopping £109million price.
However, United have not made an official bid yet, but they have contacted BVB to begin a formal discussion over Sancho’s proposed transfer.
Sancho’s deal to Old Trafford will be one of the biggest transfers expected in the summer window.
We, also learned Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has alternate targets in mind should a deal for Sancho fail to be concluded, with Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman one named option.
There were initial reports that the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool are making moves but it turned out to be only Man United had formalised their approach and they are now working hard to get a deal for Sancho over the line.
