Colin Bell Manchester City have affirmed their incredible midfielder Colin Bell has tragically passed on matured 74. The ex-England global had a transient fight with sickness which was not identified with Covid.

In an assertion, the City stated: “It is with the most profound pity and heaviest of hearts we declare the death of Manchester City legend Colin Bell.

“Colin died calmly this evening after a short, non-Covid related sickness, matured 74. He abandons spouse Marie, youngsters Jon and Dawn and grandkids, Luke, Mark, Isla and Jack.

“He is broadly respected to be the best City player of his age, showing up and scoring 152 objectives for the Club during a 13-year stay.

“Hardly any players have left a particularly permanent imprint on City.

“Known as Colin The King, in 2004 fans casted a ballot to name a remain inside the Etihad Stadium after him and his name is as yet sung routinely at matches.”

City Chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak drove the accolades, saying: “Colin Bell will consistently be recognized as one of Manchester City’s most prominent players and the miserable news today of his passing will influence everyone associated with our club.

“I am blessed to have the option to talk routinely to his previous director and partners, and it’s obvious to me that Colin was a player held in the most noteworthy respect by each one of the individuals who had the advantage of playing close by him or seeing him play.

“The progression of time does little to eradicate the recollections of his virtuoso. The way that we have a remain at the Etihad Stadium named after Colin says a lot about the significance of his commitment to this club.

“Colin was amazingly modest and a humble and downplayed man with an undeniable inward strength of character.

City symbol Shaun Goater stated: “You have my most profound sympathies to the Bell family. There will just actually be one King Colin Bell. Tear.”

Ex-striker Paul Dickov stated: “Crushed to know about passing of Colin Bell…One of the best if not THE best player to actually wear the City shirt and more than anything the most delightful and most humble man you would actually meet.
