The English Professional Football Association (PFA) in one of its deliberations to restart the 2019/2020 season has resolved that it may opt for under 45- minutes halves of play during matches.
According to Gordon Taylor, PFA chief, the two halves during games in the English Premier League (EPL) and other domestic leagues will possibly be played below 45-minutes which is the normal duration adding that discussions are on going to decide the actual time that will be applied for the two halves.
This measure according to the chief is of the measures that will be put in place in ensuring safety of players and officials. The FA has also decided to play all remaining matches for the season behind closed doors.
