Former Real Madrid star Kaka is in support of Lionel Messi’s proposed move to Premier League team Manchester City.
Messi has been linked with a move to Manchester City following the public spat with Barcelona sporting director Eric Abidal.
Kaka told Sky Sports: “I don’t think it will be a problem for him to play in the Premier League, or in a top club in a top-three league. But that obviously depends on what he wants with his career.
“It’s hard to see him play for another club, but he may feel, ‘It’s okay, it’s time for me to change and I’ll move for another experience and I’ll be the best football player in the world for another team’.
“When (Cristiano) Ronaldo left Madrid we were sad that he left the club and many of them regret that Ronaldo left Real Madrid. But I think everyone understood that it was good for him with a new challenge, he needed a new challenge, he needed to move. It’s okay, we are one of the best clubs in the world and we will continue. Real Madrid must rebuild.”
