Ex Super Eagles skipper consider a potential move to Absa Premier League clubs

by comsmedia

Former Super Eagles skipper Vincent Enyeama is considered a potential switch to the Absa Premiership club of Orlando Pirates or Kaizer Chiefs.

The 37-year-old veteran shot-stopper who amassed 101 caps for the three-time African Champions, is currently a free agent having last played for Ligue 1 outfit Lille in 2018.

Enyeama has still been keeping fit while looking out for his next move but the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations winner has refused to rule out a return to African football with the Soweto giants after ten years last featured for NPFL giant Enyimba.

Super Eagles legend told African Football HQ he said: “it would appeal to him, should his family be comfortable relocating.

“Yeah, why not? Johannesburg is a good place to be,” Enyeama confirmed. “If there’s an opportunity to play at Chiefs or Pirates, why not?

“Football is my life, football is my blood and if there is an opportunity to play and the terms and details are okay and my family and wife are okay with it, then we move.”

Enyeama started his career with Ibom Stars before a spell at Enyimba where he won two CAF Champions League, Heartland, Bnei Yehuda, Hapoel Tel Aviv and Lille.
