Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola wants two world-class defenders in a bid to challenge Liverpool for the Premier League next season.
The Champions are 22 points behind the league leaders Liverpool and Guardiola has already conceded they can’t catch up with Liverpool this season as he makes plans for next season.
Guardiola wants to make a number of signing and sell off some players to balance off the books and many feel John Stones will lead the mass exodus at the Etihad Stadium at the end of the season with Guardiola highlighting that he wants to strengthen Stone’s position at the end of the current campaign.
Inter Milian Skriniar Milan and RB Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano are his two main targets at the Etihad Stadium.
