Borussia Dortmund’s new striker announced himself in the Bundesliga last weekend when he scored a sensational hat-trick off the bench to beat Augsburg 5-3.

Debuts don’t come much better and the Norwegian wunderkind has now added to that by delivering in front of the famous Yellow Wall tonight against FC Koln.

Haaland was brought on by Lucien Favre on 65 minutes in place of Thorgan Hazard and by the 78th minute, he already had the ball in the back of the net.

Raphael Guerrerio’s shot was parried by Timo Horn and the 19-year-old was on hand to tuck the ball away – pure predatory instincts from the Norwegian.

But he saved the best for last, scoring from an impossible angle after rounding Horn to put the gloss on another memorable cameo.

Shades of Mohamed Salah against Red Bull Salzburg in the Champions League – Haaland was clearly watching and taking notes!
