Juventus has offered Cristiano Ronaldo to Barcelona as they aim to reduce their overhead cost ahead of the next season.
The former Real Madrid talisman could be on his way out from Juventus, after two seasons with The Old Lady – who are trying to get his huge £28m-per-year salary off their books, according to Spanish journalist Guillem Balague.
The report in the Sky Sports says that the forward has been linked with a move for Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus signed Ronaldo from Real Madrid with a transfer fee of €100 million two seasons ago.
Juventus suffered defeats in the Supercoppa Italiana and the Coppa Italia were compounded by Lyon knocking them out of the Champions League, which Corriere Dello Sport say is the cause for Cristiano considering his future.
Ronaldo won two La Liga titles and four Champions Leagues before making a move to Juventus where he continues to excel on with the Portuguese winning to Serie A titles in his two years with the Bianconneri.
Barcelona main priority is to sign Neymar and Lautaro Martinez from Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan respectively, the signing of Ronaldo looks very unlikely for the Camp Nou directors.
