Lampard and Chelsea board clash over differences in opinion

by comsmedia

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard and his club’s board are having issues with varying interests concerning a player at the club.
Lampard wants to sell Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga but the board is having the support of the Spanish shot-stopper the sign two years ago.

Kepa’s performances have dipped, however, and after he conceded two goals in the 2-2 draw with Arsenal he was dropped for the game against Leicester on Saturday.
Lampard wants some reinforcement in the goalkeeping department with Burnley keeper Nick Pope and Crystal Palace Vicente Guaita lined up to replace the underperforming star.
However, Chelsea director is not happy with the idea of selling Kepa, having personally pushed through the deal to sign him two years ago, and she does not want to make a loss on the player and give up on him so soon.
