by comsmedia

Manager Frank Lampard has ordered Chelsea to sign a 22-year-old star to replace Willian who is expected to leave the Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.

Lampard is keen on the club’s board to sign Leon Bailey from Bayern Leverkusen in the summer when the summer transfer window opens.

Chelsea has reportedly stepped up their interest in the Jamaican forward and the Blues are willing to offer £85m to secure the 22-year-old’s signature to bolster Lampard’s squad.

Bailey impressed Lampard during the clash between Bayer Leverkusen and Rangers in the Europa League, he played well and also scored the third goal in the 3-1 win over Steve Gerard’s team.

Chelsea is not alone in the race to sign Bailey, the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United are also ready the rival the Stamford Bridge outfit for the signature of the one of the most talent attacker in Europe.

The attacker is seen as an ideal replacement for Willian and Pedro whose futures remain uncertain at Chelsea.

Bailey has scored five times and has made one assist in 14 games in the Bundesliga so far this season.

Chelsea FC has already agreed to sign Morocco international Hakim Ziyech from Dutch side Ajax in a £37m deal in the summer.
