Leicester City’s fireman Marc Albrighton might be required again as Brendan Rodgers keeps his fingers got over the wellness of Ricardo Pereira and Luke Thomas.

Winger Albrighton needed to fill in at left-back for Thursday night’s 4-1 win over Randers and might be expected to take on a full-back job at Wolves on Sunday.

Leicester City are coming up short on full-backs, with Timothy Castagne, James Justin, and Ryan Bertrand all most certainly out through injury.

In the mean time, Thomas got a hamstring strain that kept him out of the Randers tie, while Ricardo was given a game off to help his recuperation from the messed up leg he experienced in December.

There remain questions over James Maddison and Caglar Soyuncu after they were taken off toward the finish of the Randers match, however City really do have Wesley Fofana back in preparing, yet the Frenchman isn’t yet prepared for first-group activity.

“Ricardo ideally will be fine,” Rodgers said in front of a Midlands derby on Sunday. “Luke Thomas ideally will be fine. Wesley will join the crew for preparing interestingly (on Friday) yet it’s too soon for him to be involved.

“(Thomas) was tight in his hamstring. I left him out a few days ago and afterward needed to place him into the game (as a substitute for Justin against West Ham). What’s more he just felt a snugness in his hamstring, so we were unable to bear to face the challenge. It felt much better today (Thursday).

“With Ricardo simply returning, his recuperation after games will be a piece longer in this early period, however ideally, all being admirably, those two will be alright for the end of the week.”
