Manchester city go through to the Semi final after a chaotic end to the match in Madrid
The champions league match between Atletico Madrid and Manchester City ended goaless but it was the off field rumble that was theme of the game.
With Atletico Madrid heavily criticized for their defensive shape in the first leg,they came out knowing that anything short of a win, would mean the end of their champions league campaign.
Both sides maintained box and Athletico Madrid had their first shot on target through both legs in the 34 minutes of the game that’s over 124 minutes of action before finding an effort on the Manchester city and it didn’t go it.

The refeere Managed to calm things down and Filipe was shown is second yellow of the game resulting to a red, that caused the player protesting Vehemently but he was sent to the locker room.
Nine minutes were added to the game by the fourth official but Atletico Madrid could not find the break through dispite their late surge.Manchester city players ran to the middle of the pitch after the full time whistle to celebrate their victory.
The action was far from over as tunnel footages showed police officers running to stop Sime Varsalko who was spitting and having an Altercation with Manchester city Kyle walker,both sets of players and staff were seeing trying to stop both players as the police tried were seen trying to intervene.
UEFA will surely bring out a verdict concerning the outburst between both teams.While Manchester city will face Real Madrid in the semi final,they will rue the miss of Kevin De Bruyne and Kyle walker to injuries as they prepare to face Liverpool in the FA cup this weekend.
