Manchester United Ready For Tour
Manchester United have named a 31-man travelling squad for Tour 2022 ahead of the pre-season games in Thailand and Australia. However, New coach Erik ten Hag has selected his group for the trip with an opening match to come against Liverpool on Tuesday in Bangkok. Also, the match against liverpool will be Ten Hag’s first and will be looking forward to picking his first eleven. However, the match is not a competitive match, Ten Hag will be looking for an early impression on the fans. Furthermore, Coach Ten Hag will be looking to Win his first match as a Manchester United coach.
Manchester United Players Available
Also, this represents the first tour for a number of players including first team player like Harry Maguire and Bruno Fernandez. However some younger players will have the opportunity to impress and try to break into the plans of the new coach. Furthermore, 13 players are travelling who are graduates from the Academy, such as Alejandro Garnacho, Zidane Iqbal and Charlie Savage, who all made their senior debuts last season. Also, There are also places for returning reds who were on loan last season such as, Tahith Chong, James Garner, Facundo Pellestri and Ethan Laird.
Furthermore, Manchester United’s new signing Tyrell Malacia will also be going for the tour. However, he signed from Feyenoord and he’s ready to get into action immediately. Goalkeepers Nathan Bishop and Matej Kovar, plus Facundo Pellistri, are the only men yet to make their competitive first-team bows at United.
Unavailable Players
Furthermore, Cristiano Ronaldo will not be in the party departing for Thailand as he has been granted additional time off to deal with a family issue. However reports have it that the Portuguese forward is looking for a move away from United. Nonetheless , United are not letting go of the forward.
Also, Defender Phil Jones is following a specialist pre-season programme. However, as was the case last summer, to ensure he is best prepared for the campaign ahead. Furthermore, Brandon Williams, back from a loan spell at Norwich City. However has a small issue and so is continuing to work at Carrington.
Also, Andreas Pereira who is on loan at Flamengo and is set to join Fulham on a transfer will not be going on the tour.
