Ralf Rangnick’s Manchester united side, has been knocked out of the FA cup on an 7-8 penalty lose to Championship side Milddlesbrough F.C.

What seemed to be an easy peasy task for Manchester united became Herculean afters Ronaldo’s penalty miss in the 20th minute.

However things were beginning to light up for the Red Devils when Sancho forced a goal behind the net with a super shot, five minutes later.

Milddlesbrough in the 64th minute brought in their A game as a perfect assist by Duncan Watmore was all it took for Matt Crooks to smash the ball in, making the game anyone’s win.

After an unsuccessful attempt by both teams to capitalize on the extra time, the match went into penalty, all it took was an unlucky penalty kick that went over the cross bar from Anthony Elanga to hand Milddlesbrough their win over Manchester united.

It’s now 5 years since Manchester united lifted the FA cup, with Leicester wining it in 2021.
