Chelsea defender, Antonio Rudiger wants Leipzig forward, Timo Werner to join him at Stamford Bridge amid interest on Liverpool at next transfer window.
Both players were teammate while at Stuttgart and also the German national team.
However, Werner has little time to waste in deciding where to go as his price tag may dwindle in subsequent transfer windows, Comsmedia learnt.
Werner’s release clause this summer will be €60m, and it may drop further to €40m next summer and €25m in the summer of 2022.
The 22-year-old has netted 30 goals in 39 appearances and 12 assists in all competitions this season.
