Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has hit out this weekend Premier League opponent coach Jurgen Klopp over boring comment ahead of matchday 23 encounter at Anfield on Sunday evening.
The Champions League holders remain unbeaten in the Premier League this campaign and have only dropped points once this term when they drew 1-1 with Red Devils at Old Trafford earlier this season.
Manchester United have only beaten Klopp’s Liverpool twice in 10 matches since the German took charge but he has only beaten them on two occasions too but former Bundesliga winning coach has accused Solskjaer side of being a team that only defends.
However, Norwegian and ex-Red Devil striker attacked Klopp for making such a statement ahead of a visit to Merseyside on Sunday as he has got under his skin he said via Mirror: “I don’t think it’s an accusation,”
“I take it as a compliment, that we’ve defended so well.
“When the opposition manager is frustrated, that’s a good sign our boys have done well.
“I think we’ve been closest to winning both games against Liverpool, so I don’t know what the problem has been.”
Solskjaer side are currently fifth in the division and know another win at Anfield is crucial in their fight to secure a top-four finish this season.
