The January transfer window saw some amazing transfer deals, some were shocking while others were expected, here are some of these deals that had football fans talking in the world of football.

1. Pierre – Emerick Aubameyang (Arsenal to Barcelona) Arsenal’s former captain, Aubameyang looked to be without a club, haven falling out of Favour at Arsenal and missing out of the AFCON 2022 due to Coronavirus, prospects seemed slim. He took the bull by the horns by initiating a deal to Barcelona who are in dire need of a striker, even without getting consent from his previous team, Arsenal. The Gabonese would have to take a huge salary slash due to Barcelona’s financial issues, which saw Lionel Messi leave the club last year.

2. Dusan Vlhaovic (Fiorentina to Juventus) The 22 year old Serbian Forward who had been sought out by major clubs during this transfer window including Arsenal, was snatched by Italian Giants Juventus for a whooping sum of £75.5 million to wear the number seven jersey, after proving his worth in Fiorentina.

3. Anthony Martial (Manchester United to Sevilla) On loan, the Manchester united man finally decided to get more play time by trying a new club on loan, where he hopes to stand out in the top 11. The Frenchman going to Sevilla could be the deal to light up his career.

4. Philippe Coutinho (Barcelona to Aston Villa). The former Liverpool’s magician has taken another leap from Camp Nou to English side Aston Villa on Loan. It didn’t take time for the Brazilian to announce himself as he scored and assisted on his debut for the English team

5. Ferran Torres (Manchester City to Barcelona) Rumored to be one of the signings to solve Barcelona’s winning problem, the Spaniard leaves Man city to Barcelona on a £55m deal, since joining, the former City man has brought some ginger to the squad and having a manager like Xavi, it’s no telling what Torres can achieve in Barcelona.

6. Lorenzo Insignie (Napoli to Toronto). Even Captains do not stay forever, Napoli’s striker and captain Insignie is set to join Toronto FC at the end of the season, for a four-year deal. Exciting deal for the Toronto side.

7. Dele Alli (Tottenham to Everton) Joining Everton on the deadline transfer day, Dele links up with Manager Frank Lampard, after spending seven years in Tottenham, the English Man is hoping to bring the fire he had in the first two seasons in Tottenham to Everton.

8. Samuel Kalu (Bordeaux to Watford) Although not been called to the National team of the Super Eagles like his Colleagues, the 22 year old Nigerian winger managed to grab a good transfer deal to Watford for £5.50m.

9. Christian Eriksen (Inter Milan to Brentford) After being released by Inter Milan because of health conditions and rules in Itialain football that doesn’t allow players with ICD. Eriksen has sought adventure as he returns to the Premier League side Brentford, after passing his medicals. It’s a signing to monitor, as we all know the magic Christian can do in the mid field.

10. Adama Traore (Wolves to Barcelona) Adama Traore returns to where he first began on a loan from Wolves with £29m permanent option. Adama picks up the number 11 jersey in Barcelona as he is set to do great things, having a dribbling rate of 81.4%, Barcelona seems to have gotten a real asset.
