Tottenham Hotspur has made a last minute decision to suspend further negotiations on with AS Roma winger, Nicolo Zaniolo.
Roma is demanding £62 million for the 20-year-old Zaniolo. Spurs sees him as a potential long-term target but admitted that the demand from the Italian giant is out of their price range for the season.
Zaniolo is still on contract with Roma till 2024, which means he will continue his impressive run for Paulo Fonseca’s side perhaps for the next couple of seasons.
Spurs likewise other clubs are expected to spend lower this summer due to the coronavirus pandemic which has affected a lot of economies globally.
