WestHam Hammers Lyon 3:0 to Cruise into into the Europa league Semi final
David Moyes saw his WestHam side defeat french opposition Lyon 3:0 in France as they will face Eintracht Frankfurt in the semi final.
WestHam drew the first leg at home 1:1 and played the entirety of the second half with 10 men after Aaron Cresswel dismissal,he was replaced by the youngster Johnson who has been brilliant whenever he’s being called up
The Hammers started the game brightly as Spanish international Pablo Fonals dragged his shot wide.
The home side Lyon pushed forward and was unlucky not to score with Cameroonian international Toko Kal Ekambi hitting the foot of the post with a fierce strike.

Both sides cancelled each other out in the battle for midfield dominance as the pendulum swung from one side to the other.
Aouar flashed a shot wide off Areola’s post and Declan Rice saw his shot comfortably saved by Lyon goalkeeper Julian Pollersbeck who was deputizing for the injured Lopez.
WestHam took the lead through Craig Dawson who headed home Pablo Fonals cross to give the hammers the lead in Lyon.
Tomas Soucek then headed a great ball across the face of goal but Emerson was on hand to clear away from the reach of the lurking Michail Antonio.
The Hammers were all over Lyon and they got their second goal through their captain Declan Rice who fired the ball into the bottom corner from the edge of the box.
The first half ending strongly for David Moyes men who would be proud of their display despite playing away.
The second half was more of a cagey affair as both sides failed to break each other with WestHam using their Physicality well, Michail Antonio was a beast upfront bullying the Lyon defenders all night long.
Lyon was all over the place at the back and WestHam punished them for thier lackluster showing with Jarrod Bowen firing past Lyon goalkeeper Julian Pollersbeck to give the hammers a comfortable 3:0 lead.
Dembele then fired over the bar after a smart turn.The Lyon side kept on piling the pressure and 18 year old defender Gusto with a long range shot but Alphonso Areola was on hand to push the ball round the post
It was the home side that kept the pressure on WestHam goal after the third goal the hammers were content sitting back and occasionally breaking out on the counter with the pace of Antonio and Jarrod Bowen.
The final whistle blew as the traveling away fans were in high spirit.Westham manager will be delighted with his sides achievement.After his time in Manchester united David Moyes will be glad that he has taken a side battling relegation in previous years and now challenging in Europe,what a dream for WestHam fans as they take on Eintracht Frankfurt in the semi final.
