Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has revealed why Riyad Mahrez cannot get injured after the attacker blistering form.
The Algerian attacker has been in tremendous form of late and his eye-catching performance in the 6-1 victory against Aston Villa where he scored a brace.
Mahrez’s level of fitness is high and he can go months without sustaining any injury and Guardiola spoke on the form of the Algerian striker and joked that the star cannot get injured due to his lack of meat in the legs.
“The difference last season and this season is he plays more minutes because the manager is more kind to him. You see his legs it is impossible to be injured because he has no muscles. The final third he has something special, always I have the feeling he can score a goal.”
Manchester City will host Crystal Palace in their next Premier League on Saturday.
